Going away

My baby girl is on her way out, those two words makes me want to cringe, grab a box of tissue and choke my self. I am having a moment here ok, may be I have been having a few moments for the last week. Shee, she's leaving my first little princess flying away setting her wings and leaving the nest.

What's a mom to do???? She's one of the funny one's in the house; always ready to dance her way through the house just like when she was a baby.

You carry them then they crawl next they walk and run but through it all your still by their side hoping they won't fall but knowing you'll catch if they should. You want them to grow to see it all, because you know life has so much to offer but then it comes and it hits home. You won't be there everyday to wipe those tears away, you won't see her every day walking by and seeing her turn with a smile.
So those tiny little hands got bigger and she grew taller but her heart and soul are the same. They are just as big from the first day I laid eyes on her and held her in my arms.
I have to let her be and know that she will find her way and will always be able to count on me.
What more is there for me to say????
Nothing really more I can say but to say how much I love her.
Chass, Chassy, Chastity, Spider monkey mommy loves you with every being in me. oxoxoxox.

Jenn, your picture made me reflect back to my little guy.

My baby and me, I had wanted a little boy for so long.

Now it's 4 years later and he's still bringing me tears of joy.

Cut

My Princess Brittney has asked for a haircut for the longest time so today I said what the heck. Long layers will be ok with me however she was not at all happy with the cut. She mentioned that you couldn't even see the layers. I felt bad but just didn't bring my self to let her go any shorter. The lady working on her hair did tell her that she also thought she shouldn't go any shorter so that made it a little easier for Princess. I guess since it didn't only come from my mouth it made it ok.
I tend to think that girls should have their hair long until they reach 16. Yes, many of you may think that's just absurd. The logic behind it for me is that girls will grow into women and will have a life time of choice. What woman really wants long hair at the age of 45 or 50? Not to pretty at that age to me.
Any how I feel my girls look beautiful with long hair. Now on the other side I would love to see how they would look with a bob shh don't mention it too loud.

Boy oh boy

Boys are amazing and I just happen to be the mom that lives and breathes her son. My girls are are loved just as much but this post is about my little guy.

Nicky had his friend over yesterday for a play date and I couldn't believe how grown he has gotten. They had such a great time playing together and it was wonderful watching him playing with someone other then his sisters. The swords, cars and dinos were all out and scattered all over and the funny thing is I was not even concerned with the mess. Which if you know me that's not all that usual. It was entertainment at its best. Life was just flowing and then I thought my baby boy is off to school in a few months. Never again will I be his main source of play, never again will he spend his major part of the day with me and never again will I be the only one serving him his lunch.

I don't know what is but I think all the time how lucky I am to have this sweet, handsome, playful little guy in my life. I almost cry when he comes running to give me his little hugs and big kisses. Why do they have to grow???? Why do they have to marry off lol. Do you think his wife will move in with my husband and I. Ok, this is getting a bit ahead of myself. But I just want to say that I LOVE MY SON.
