Twilight

Let me introduce you to my new leading man, "Edward" that is after my husband of course. Hmmmm, Boy to think I did not even want to see this movie or touch the books. My daughter and girl friends were trying to lure me in and I had continued to deny my self the indulgence that they were taking in. I even stated jokingly that it was a cult lol. That is till the very last minute that I told my husband Damione I won't be going to see,"Bolt" and thank God I wised up. Just to think that I almost denied myself the very indulgence what a shame that would have been. I'm running to Target tomorrow morning and purchasing the books. I hate that I didn't jump on the bandwagon sooner. Oh well, it's okay I saw the best movie of 2008 . It was great I went with my daughter and best friend Robin. It was a movie that left me wanting more. It was surely powerful and very intriguing. It left me wishing for a quick moment that my dear husband was a vampire. I may even think about a tattoo with bite marks on my neck. Just joking!!!! My favorite parts were when they were laying in the meadow side by side, her sleeping and he's staring right at her and she thinks she's dreaming, and last but not least he's laying on her be and she's sleeping on his chest. Sooo cute not that I would want my 16 year old daughter doing the same. Oh, wait one minute my other favorite part was towards the end when they are dancing. Love it!!! I should say the only thing that I did not like was the way she left her dad but from my understanding she had to leave that way. Can't wait for the next movie and to read the book.

The movie was excellent and the actors were phenomenal. I felt the powerfulness It was clean and left your imagination to do the rest of the work. What I liked most about going to see the movie was hearing and seeing the younger girls and teens take to the movie. They were shouting I love you Edmond and lots of O'ssssssssssss and ahhhhhhhhhh's. Again what a wonderful movie.

American Music Awards

Hot hot hot I love it! The dresses and studs the stars wore out on the red carpet just shouted. Shining bright bling that you may have well used shades to stop the brightness. Tonight was great at the AMA from flash back New Kids On The Block to Alicia Keys, NeYo, and country music. I am loving every bit of it and it's a shame I couldn't be a fill-in for seating. Top Star for me would be Byonce, Teen Princess' Taylor Swift, Miley Sirus and teen heart throb idols Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, ect. were my girls high light for the night. America needs music it's what soothes our souls at least mine. Who doesn't love a good piece that up lifts your mood, or certain words bring you to a good cry that you thought was needed. There's a song for every mood y not love it.

Who Let The Dogs Out

Ok, if you know me you will know that dogs and I have a love hate relationship. Yes, I have shown up with a brand new dog and of course my husband and friends thought I clearly lost my mind but they are just sooooo darn cute. Take a look for your self the cute little Shitz "Tiffany " is ours, the black Lab "Maximillion" yes well he's ours to. That Golden Retriever "Bonnie" well she's not mine and poor old "Clyde" well he's sort of went MIA. Next we have,"Saboo" the American Staffer he's also known as the dog with all the Salsa. No he's not quite mine either, he actually belongs to my best friend Niki and last but not least we have "Bongo" the new addition and he's also a Staffer. Again not mine his owner is Niki.

In Honor of My Mother In-law

First I would just like to say that my husbands mother is just like my own mother. We are a very close and I love her with every part of my heart. She has been in my life since my childhood and has seen my husband and I grow together. I know I will always have her in my corner.
Every woman deserves a day of appreciation. Last night was a night of celebration not for I but for my mother in- law. She finally retired and in deserving was honored by her employer and colleagues with a beautiful sit down dinner. Patty, Pat as they call her (to me she's just plain old Ma) is retiring from the New York Friars Club. An invitation was extended to her family and I was just as honored to be a part of her special evening. You could see the sheer sadness in leaving old friends. All together they shared brief stories and reminisced on the, "Good Old Days". Each one will hold a place in her heart and vice verse. The atmosphere was fantastic, filled with laughter and tears.
The festivities were held at Fresco's and the food was superb. If you like Italian food then may I suggest a visit to this family owned restaurant. The food was outstanding and dessert may I say was exquisite. It will definitely bring you back home with it's feel of comfort and family pictures. I also found the decor to be polished with a touch of a modern fit. Five stars for me!!!!!!

How Sweet It Is 2 Be Loved By You

You can not ask for a more sweeter child then this one. A heart of gold is what lays beneath her and joy is what she brings to me. This is my angel during our annual Apple Picking day. We had a great time watching her climb up the trees. You will find my baby always helping out with her siblings carrying one of them when their tiered of walking through the orchard. What can I say I have the best children ever.

My baby Got her....

My beautiful daughter just passed her permit test. Yes, she did it!!! That's only a reminder for my husband and I that our little girl is getting older. My baby will soon be driving to school and practices on her own. I'm so proud of her!! Next thing coming for sure will be her car what excitement I can't wait. As scary as the thought of my child sharing the road with others is I am just going to have to put those out of my mind and just instill in her to be safe at the wheel and continue to ask God to guide and protect her. This pic truly is her.

It's Been A Long Time

Okay, so it's been a while but I am hoping to have some time at least for now. Since it seems that's the one thing I am lacking. Time at least my time is spent being the busy soccer mommy and happy wife. Although I love it, I just truly feel like I'm on the roaring rapid tides over the Colorado River. That's how I feel, never time for me!! But today that was just not the case. I can say it was gratifying. My children had off from school and my poor hubby worked a full day and me well I just took it slow. It was GREAT, GREAT, GREAT I SAY. I didn't do much at all just relaxed. Not that I was not thinking of all I have to do. Does laundry constitute as relaxing? Some humor here, OK maybe I did do a little bit of house work but for the most part I did just lay back and kick up my cute little legs. My darling daughter spent time with her younger brother and sister. I even had some time to read my new book. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh What A Feeling when your Dancing on the CEILING. Remember that one???
