Top Board Games

My family and I enjoy playing board games so the Princess and Prince requested some new games for Christmas.

If you enjoyed playing the old Bop It then you will definitely enjoy the new one. Age range states 8 and up but Prince who is 5 can play perfectly well. Bop it, pass it or hit with your hip this one is sure to be the family pleaser. New Connect that was also an oldie but will always be a goodie. It's new and way more improved with double the chances to play. Another plus if you have more than two in a family you can play along together.

Our top family board games or games are:
Sorry
Taboo Jr.
Uno
Scategories
Scrabble
Connect 4
New Connect
Bop It
Steal the Old Man Bundle

Tonight’s game will be Sorry and Bop It. Go out buy some games and have a fun night with the family. I am!!!!!

Thankfully Happy

Thanksgiving was great we had family up for the holiday and they brought me plenty of laughter. If you know me I love to laugh and that is exactly what we did. We laughed so hard and I think I could have used a Depends lol. My family is what I am eternally greatful for. They keep me grounded and show me the love that every family should know.

Going away

My baby girl is on her way out, those two words makes me want to cringe, grab a box of tissue and choke my self. I am having a moment here ok, may be I have been having a few moments for the last week. Shee, she's leaving my first little princess flying away setting her wings and leaving the nest.

What's a mom to do???? She's one of the funny one's in the house; always ready to dance her way through the house just like when she was a baby.

You carry them then they crawl next they walk and run but through it all your still by their side hoping they won't fall but knowing you'll catch if they should. You want them to grow to see it all, because you know life has so much to offer but then it comes and it hits home. You won't be there everyday to wipe those tears away, you won't see her every day walking by and seeing her turn with a smile.
So those tiny little hands got bigger and she grew taller but her heart and soul are the same. They are just as big from the first day I laid eyes on her and held her in my arms.
I have to let her be and know that she will find her way and will always be able to count on me.
What more is there for me to say????
Nothing really more I can say but to say how much I love her.
Chass, Chassy, Chastity, Spider monkey mommy loves you with every being in me. oxoxoxox.

My baby and me, I had wanted a little boy for so long.

Boy oh boy

Boys are amazing and I just happen to be the mom that lives and breathes her son. My girls are are loved just as much but this post is about my little guy.

Nicky had his friend over yesterday for a play date and I couldn't believe how grown he has gotten. They had such a great time playing together and it was wonderful watching him playing with someone other then his sisters. The swords, cars and dinos were all out and scattered all over and the funny thing is I was not even concerned with the mess. Which if you know me that's not all that usual. It was entertainment at its best. Life was just flowing and then I thought my baby boy is off to school in a few months. Never again will I be his main source of play, never again will he spend his major part of the day with me and never again will I be the only one serving him his lunch.

I don't know what is but I think all the time how lucky I am to have this sweet, handsome, playful little guy in my life. I almost cry when he comes running to give me his little hugs and big kisses. Why do they have to grow???? Why do they have to marry off lol. Do you think his wife will move in with my husband and I. Ok, this is getting a bit ahead of myself. But I just want to say that I LOVE MY SON.

In Honor of My Mother In-law

First I would just like to say that my husbands mother is just like my own mother. We are a very close and I love her with every part of my heart. She has been in my life since my childhood and has seen my husband and I grow together. I know I will always have her in my corner.
Every woman deserves a day of appreciation. Last night was a night of celebration not for I but for my mother in- law. She finally retired and in deserving was honored by her employer and colleagues with a beautiful sit down dinner. Patty, Pat as they call her (to me she's just plain old Ma) is retiring from the New York Friars Club. An invitation was extended to her family and I was just as honored to be a part of her special evening. You could see the sheer sadness in leaving old friends. All together they shared brief stories and reminisced on the, "Good Old Days". Each one will hold a place in her heart and vice verse. The atmosphere was fantastic, filled with laughter and tears.
The festivities were held at Fresco's and the food was superb. If you like Italian food then may I suggest a visit to this family owned restaurant. The food was outstanding and dessert may I say was exquisite. It will definitely bring you back home with it's feel of comfort and family pictures. I also found the decor to be polished with a touch of a modern fit. Five stars for me!!!!!!

Dads & Daughters

Splish Splash

It was just as titled with alot of splishing and splashing. Dh and I took the kids to Splish Splash down in Long Island on Saturday. Well it sure lives up to it's name. We went along with other members of our family who took their kids which made the day even better. The kids had a great time and not one argument. How could they. They were too busy running and getting soaked. A great place even for adults. Lots of laughs and a great time with our family.
