That's My Answer

To play along with That's My Answer

What does being “forever young” mean to you?

Forever young meaning young at heart. We all seem to not want to age but the saying is accurate. You feel as young as you let yourself be. I hope to be that person that does not whine about her back in pain and needing all sorts of medication or wanting botox because lines will become apparent. You can allow yourself to be as young as you would like. Never think your aging in fact accept those laugh lines for pure joy and happiness. Wouldn't you prefer to have a line knowing you gained it through feeling a source of happiness & completeness. To me it's all about living life to the fullest and enjoying every bit of it, loving who you are and being content where you are as well. FOREVER YOUNG is that not what Rod Steward has been singing. lol

heads or tails

Doctor Doctor, gimme the news I got aBad case of lovin' youNo pill's gonna cure my ill I got aBad case of lovin' you.

Manic Monday

Every person you have ever slept with is invited to a banquet where you are the guest of honor. No one will be in attendance except you, the collection of your former lovers, and the catering service. After the meal, you are asked to give a fifteen-minute speech to the assembly. What do you talk about? What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?Are you a window person or an aisle person? Why?

Boy if I were the guest of honor and my lovers would have been there I would hope that they would say how amazing I was. I guess while the catering service was over hearing they would be so thrilled by speech that they wouldn't charge me for the food. After eating I would let the one person who I thought was the best know exactly how he made me feel. This would be my husband of course. I would say the other person could take notes. Being that my husband could teach a few tricks.
My favorite thing to do on a rainy day is just lay back in bed with my children and cuddle. Have my husband wrap me in his arms for some time. My children would watch some television or play while my husband makes love to me. I guess that's because he's great at what he does.
A aisle person of course. I love to feel the product in my hand. Texture means a lot too me.

Dads & Daughters

Splish Splash

It was just as titled with alot of splishing and splashing. Dh and I took the kids to Splish Splash down in Long Island on Saturday. Well it sure lives up to it's name. We went along with other members of our family who took their kids which made the day even better. The kids had a great time and not one argument. How could they. They were too busy running and getting soaked. A great place even for adults. Lots of laughs and a great time with our family.

My Princess and I

Friday was all about my youngest princess. I have four unique children so I am always trying to make time for each of them individualy. That's what this Friday was all about. Just sharing the day with one of my princess'.

As my family and close friends know I love visiting the city and Kit Kat loves it just as much as I do. We started our morning off with a one and a half our drive talking and listening to her favorite music. Yeah for Hannah Montana!!! Kit Kat adores her. The plan was to visit the Museum of Natural History. The smile on her face as we were walking through the building just touched me. She was taken back by the architecture and most of all those grand old dinosaur bones. My Kit Kat is a very emotional person and can just warm the coldest person in a matter of seconds. Her appreciation never goes unnoticed. Those are just one of the many things I love about my little princess. One memory that I will carry with me was our lunch on the steps of the Museum. She looked at me and said, "Mommy I love spending time with you". A word I always love as well as want to hear from my children. So my response back was, "Kit Kat thank you for spending time with me". You know the best part of this is, I love spending time with my daughter. I never feel like it's a task or part of the job. To me it's a joy and a time that is spent just bonding and learning more about my little one.

There were plenty of sharks which happens to be her favorite animal. Just like her daddy!! Of course tons of bones and plenty of artifacts. From there we hit Central Park where we shared a soft pretzel and chit chatted some more. Break dancers were dancing and we also so a man dressed in silver. He reminded Kit Kat of Willie Wonka. Our day ended with having a sketching done of my princess. A wonderful day with my beautiful little princess. I love you baby girl.

In the City

The kids, dh, family and myself all headed down to the city this past Saturday. I have to say there's no where like the Big Apple. My little guy had his first ride on the subway and he absolutely loved it. The hustle and bustle is the best I truly love New York. Who couldn't? My daughter's God parents and I decided to take the kids to the Children's Museum. What a blast!!! If any one is looking for a good kid friendly place to visit that's definitely the place to hit. From adventures with Dora and Diego in the rainforest to visiting Dora's house and playing some musical instruments, take a seat in Dr. Seuss' car but remember not to climb on his hood. We learned about the inside of our bodies, visited Ancient Greece. My prince and princess along with their cousins whom of course are my other little princess' had a true journey. They climbed a Trojan Horse. Along with many other children they were able to explore science and use their imagination with sand and a huge built in Mr. Light. It was great and not expensive at all. Only a mere $10.00 to get in and watch your child use his learning abilities and see them have a wonderful time. I will be going back for sure.

Those old summer days

Come on, don't you wish you were a child again.

"A mother understands what a child does not say"

It's so true only a mother knows. I understand when my girls are mute in the break of the day. My son is understandable when he just sits and stares out into a daze with no voice. If you know your children you can hear them.
